This research examines the philosophy of history from perspective Saint Augustine. Augustine has contributed to field philosophy, and became one philosophers speculative history. Meanwhile, aim is see historical thoughts movements can be classified in philosophical research. The method used this study a qualitative with literature review as reference source. While data analysis techniques, authors use Miles Huberman which starts reduction, presentation, conclusions. results indicate that was an influential figure Middle Ages, Augustine's thought influenced by teachings Manichaenism Neo Platonism.
